Become a vital part of student development as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant across all district schools. Work under skilled guidance in a cooperative setting with designated students in need of support. This position involves 35 hours per week assisting students with speech and language difficulties.

Assistants will implement strategies from the District’s Speech Language Pathologist while working at multiple school locations. Ideal candidates will have relevant certification and experience in K-12 settings. Key Responsibilities:
Assist students under Speech Language Pathologist direction
Implement intervention strategies for communication skills
Manage schedules and initiatives independently




Utilize software tailored for special needs support
Collaborate with teachers and staff on student progress Requirements:
Completed Grade 12 and Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Certification
One year experience in K-12 speech and language support
Training in Non-Violent Crisis Management preferred
Valid BC Driver's Licence and excellent driving record
Physical ability to perform required duties Support student growth and communication skills at all district schools as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
