This temporary full-time position plays a vital role in ensuring optimal care and safety in our community hospital setting. Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and maintain medical devices and equipment
Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments
Load and operate sterilizing equipment effectively
Request and track medical supplies accurately
Assist in training recent staff and students Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent is required
Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate from an accredited college
Two years of relevant experience in reprocessing
Knowledge of medical terminology and sterilization methods
