suggesting improvements within the teamPromote and uphold best coding and design practicesProvide product improvement suggestions based on hands-on use of Fortinet productsResearch and define recent areas of technology to enhance existing or future products; re-evaluate design and implementation of current code as neededRequirementsE xperience in C/C++/Golang/Rust developmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience developing software in Linux or UNIX-like environmentsKnowledge of TLS, TCP/IP, POSIX APIs, and socket programmingFamiliarity with source control systems (Git or others)Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and methodologiesAssetsUnderstanding of networking and security concepts, especially in TLS stackExperience with scripting languages (Shell, Python, or Perl)Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX server or system managementEducationBachelor’s degree in Computer ScienceThe Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $136,000 - $136,000 annually.
