JOB DESCRIPTIONAccountant, Global Shared ServicesAs part of the Global Shared Services team, the SSC Accountant will be responsible for preparing and assisting with monthly, quarterly and year end activities for Business Units Globally. This role will be responsible for various accounting duties including but not limited to preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, payment processing, financial statement compilation, financial analysis, Fixed Assets administration, cashflow, regulatory filings, and period closing activities.The role requires experience of 3+ years of full cycle accounting, Oracle Fusion, shared services, strong process documentation and analytical skills.This role requires candidates willing to travel 30% of their time as and when requiredCandidates should also be willing to work in shifts(early Morning or late nights).Salary Range - 70,000 - 80,000ResponsibilitiesResponsible for full cycle accounting ; accuracy, completeness,conformanceConduct period closing activitiesPerform detailed financial analysis to identify trend, discrepancies and opportunitiesResponsible to be a subject matter expert in all key process of Shared services accounting scopeProvide backup for other accountants and administrators in the Shared Service Centre as requiredAssists in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and any other monthly/ quarterly/annual reporting requirements.Administers all banking transactions and prepares weekly cash reports for all Business UnitsProcess documentation, Flow charts, Scoping matrixSupport Financial Statement Audits,



and other regulatory auditsLiaise with various departments and Business units to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of monthly accounting information and other deliverables.Prepare month end bank reconciliations, Balance sheet account reconciliation, journal entries, Overhead allocations.Prepare sales tax filing, payments, recording, and reconciliationsAssist in annual income tax returns and filingsSupport implementation of accounting changes /Other regulatory changesLead / Contribute to special initiatives to drive process improvementsPerform ad hoc requests as required.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and notes in accordance with GAAP, IFRS or other disclosed basis of accounting.QualificationsMinimum of 3 -5 years' experience of full cycle accountingExperience and strives in organizations undergoing change or rapid growth.Experience working in a cross functional, multi countries environmentExperience working on various projects; process improvement, transition to Shared Services, ERP implementation projects, major process changes etc.Experience and Proficient in ERP systems ( Oracle Fusion a must)Documentation ; SOP, Process flow mapping, responsibility matrix,
