This role, based in Toronto, Denver, or the Northeast US, offers a unique chance to support sustainable projects.As an Interconnection & PV/BESS Design Engineer at PureSky Energy, you will oversee utility-scale solar and battery storage projects from inception to ~30% design. Your expertise in AutoCAD and PVCase will be vital in developing initial layouts and electrical diagrams. Collaborate with utilities and internal teams to ensure all designs meet interconnection standards.Key Responsibilities:
Design PV and BESS layouts with accuracy and technical completeness
Support utility interconnection applications and modeling assumptions




Communicate design assumptions to EPC partners
Review EPC design packages for alignment with owner intent
Conduct technical due diligence for M&A; activitiesRequirements:
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience with utility-scale solar or BESS projects
Proficient in AutoCAD and PVCase
Knowledge of utility interconnection processes
