Help business leaders solve complex business challenges The Corporate Investigations Team is one of the most compelling and engaging functions at TELUS. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating complex, high-impact cases that protect TELUS against a wide scope of threats and breaches.

What you’ll do
Conduct various complex internal and external investigations
Work with outside agencies such as Law Enforcement, Courts and Legal to bring cases to resolution
Work closely with Internal Stakeholders including People & Culture, Labor Relations, Legal Services and other TELUS Security Teams
Produce summary investigation reports for distribution to TELUS leaders
Query and Analyze various electronic data sources for case evidence
Thoroughly build and document cases to support findings and resolutions




Provide Security recommendations and participate in Projects for proactive measures
Evaluate cases for patterns and trends to identify failures in policies, procedures and/or internal controls
Urgent response for threats toward TELUS assets and personnel
Lead and participate in investigative interviews

Qualifications

What you bring
At least 5 years of experience in an investigative position
Proficient computer skills, computer application and database query language
Solid report writing, communications and interviewing skills
Familiarity of the Criminal and Civil Justice System
Ability to investigate incidents through traditional means, using technology and data analytics
Ability to respond to urgent incidents outside regular business hours
Must have a Private Investigator License
Ability to obtain a Government of Canada Security Clearance

Outstanding-to-haves
Experience as a court or arbitration witness
Working knowledge in the Telecommunications industry
Familiarity of Digital Forensic concepts, Fraud and Technical investigations
