DescriptionMaintenance TechnicianMaintain and repair all production equipment and machinery to minimise production down time.Following a schedule of planned and preventative maintenance.Identifying areas of weakness within the machinery, or parts,Reporting usage of spare parts and for reordering in order to maintain an inventory of replacement parts.Identify machine problems.Help maintain service and repair records on all machinery.Lock-out, dismantle, adjust, connect, secure, assemble and test machinery when required.Modify equipment or fabricate parts where none exist or are not readily available.Be present for boiler inspections. Perform water tests and adjust chemical usage as required.Ensure lock-out tag out, hot work, confined space, working at heights, etc. policies and procedures are fully adhered to.Follow manufacture instructions, manuals, schematics, drawings etc.
