We are growing and are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Welding & Fabrication Shop Laborer to join our Team.
Position Summary
Job Type: Full time, permanent position
Full time condensed work week: 10 Hours/day, 4 Days/week. Overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Grinding metal for weld preparation
Daily shop cleaning
Machinery preventative maintenance
Assist welders and machine operators as required
Parts/delivery driving (drivers abstract required)
Operate metal saw
Operate presses
Banding/packaging materials for shipping
Empty garbage bins
Perform all work in compliance with established safety procedures and codes.
Other duties as they arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing excellent service.
Qualifications
Driver’s license and ability to provide a drivers abstract upon request.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Steel toed work boots (all other PPE provided by employer).
Experience operating heavy equipment and fork lifts is considered an asset.
Experience with fabrication & welding is considered an asset.
Compensation
$15-$20 Per hour based on experience and qualifications.
