Become a key part of patient safety at Mackenzie Health as a Security Ambassador. Engage with patients and visitors to enhance their experience while ensuring a secure workplace in our emergency departments. This role involves monitoring emergency department waiting areas, engaging effectively with patients and staff, and employing de-escalation strategies for managing potential risks.

You will liaise with healthcare and security teams, making observations that are vital to patient care and safety while developing individualized support plans for at-risk individuals. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol emergency department waiting areas
Engage with patients and provide supportive interactions
Identify and report health changes to clinical staff
Liaise with emergency responders during incidents
Document hourly census and client contacts Requirements:
Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification
Up-to-date immunization records
Previous security or law enforcement experience preferred
Solid fluency in English (oral/written)
