We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RECE (Registered Early Childhood Educator) Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
Assist the lead educator in implementing daily lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
Support children with their activities, encouraging participation and independence
Maintain a secure and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to care
Help organize classroom materials, supplies, and educational resources using strong organizational skills
Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing tailored assistance as directed
Document observations and write reports on children's progress to inform ongoing assessments





Qualifications
Fluent in English; bilingual abilities such as French are considered an asset
Prior experience working with children or in childcare settings is highly preferred
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development best practices
Experience working with children with disabilities or in special education is advantageous
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
Proficient computer skills including basic operation of educational software and record keeping tools
Classroom experience demonstrating leadership, time management, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple responsibilities effectively

Pay: $23.00-$26.50 per hour
