Join the City of Toronto as a Project Officer in Parks and Recreation. Lead intricate projects to develop recreational facilities and parkland enhancements across the city. This temporary full time role will involve coordinating and delivering complex projects while partnering with various stakeholders to achieve the City’s parks objectives.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will engage in strategic planning and oversee the Parks and Recreation Facilities Plan implementation, including the 2027 update. Key Responsibilities:
Lead complex parks and facilities plans as per City Council direction
Coordinate multi-stakeholder planning and design projects
Review and implement park plans and area studies




Manage project scoping and procurement with external consultants
Represent the Division in public forums and community councils Requirements:
Degree in planning, landscape architecture, or related field
Extensive park and recreation planning experience
Solid project management skills and critical judgement
Knowledge of relevant municipal policies and regulations
