House, Canada's largest agency for at-risk youth, is seeking a Youth Worker for its Rights of Passage program on a full time, two-year contract. You will work overnight shifts from 10:30 PM to 8:30 AM, providing emotional support and practical assistance to participants. Your engagement will help youth transition to independent living through dedicated support. Key Responsibilities:
Build supportive relationships with youth participants
Facilitate group life skills sessions monthly
Provide individual counseling and community referrals
Intervene during crises and emergencies
Manage shift responsibilities to ensure safety Requirements:
Degree/diploma in child and youth work
Minimum two years’ experience in transitional housing
Trauma-informed approach expertise
Robust communication skills in various mediums
Knowledge of community resources for youth Make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable youth each night at Covenant House.
