Perform venepuncture and initiate intravenous therapy
Manage postoperative PCA pumps and chest tubes




Conduct fluid and electrolyte assessments and glucose monitoring
Educate patients on surgical procedures and care plans
Document clinical information utilizing Meditech system Requirements:
Current member in good standing with the College of Nurses
Basic Life Support certification required
2+ years in pre/post-operative acute care
Knowledge in TPN and enteral feeding practices
