About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Assistant to join our spectacle department. This position is for full time, 8 - 5, Monday to Thursday.

This is an ideal prospect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a robust sense of style, and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients in selecting frames that suit their style, prescription, and lifestyle needs
Provide guidance on lens options, coatings, and products
Take accurate measurements for proper lens fitting (PD, heights, adjustments)
Perform frame fittings, adjustments, and minor repairs
Process and place orders for eyewear
Verify completed eyewear and ensure accuracy before dispensing
Deliver a high level of patient care and customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the optical display area




Support general clinic flow and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
Previous experience in optical, retail, or customer service preferred
Solid interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
A sense of style and interest in eyewear fashion is an asset
Ability to learn technical aspects of lenses and measurements
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
