Drive land use planning initiatives with the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority as a Municipal Planning Coordinator. This role engages your expertise in managing municipal planning services and environmental assessments. As the Municipal Planning Coordinator, you will lead the implementation of critical land use planning services at UTRCA. Collaborate with staff on Planning Act applications and provide mentorship to enhance team capabilities.

Your role will emphasize policy development and strategic program direction to protect natural resources within our communities. Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and mentorship for Planning Act applications
Review complex applications and provide transparent recommendations
Develop and implement the program budget and annual workplan




Contribute to Planning Advisory Services policy development
Represent UTRCA at meetings and hearings with planning expertise Requirements:
University degree in Planning, Environmental Science, or related field
Approximately five years of relevant municipal planning experience
Solid knowledge of land use legislation and watershed management
Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Registered Qualified Planner (RPP) designation preferred Leverage your planning expertise and experience to enhance conservation efforts within the Upper Thames River watershed.
