Sunalta Medical clinic is looking for an experieced, friendly, and reliable Medical Office Assistant/Receptoinist to join our team.

We are looking for someone who is organized, communicates well, can multitask in a very busy clinic environment, and is a strong team player.

Qualifications
Previous Medical Office/Reception experience
Telus Med Access experience and training required
Excellent communication and patient service skills
Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Reliable, professional, and positive
Ability to work independently and as part of a tean
Knowledge of Medical Terminolgy and Alberta Healthcare processes

Responsibilites
Patient reception and check-in/check-out
Answering phones and scheduling appointments
Managing referrals, forms, faxing, scanning, and incoming correspondence




Updating and maintaining patient charts in Telus Med Access
Communicating with patients, pharmacies, specialists and other healthcare providers
Supporting physicians, nurses, and the clinic team with daily administrative tasks

Schedule
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Fridays: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Compensation & Advantages
Starting wage at $22.00 Per Hour
Advantages available after 3 Months of employment if desired.
