Lead land governance initiatives as Lands Manager with Sqwá First Nation in Chilliwack, BC. Oversee land transactions, policy development, and community engagement while ensuring stewardship and compliance. As a Lands Manager, you will implement the SFN Land Code under the guidance of the Acting Director of Lands Governance.

This full time permanent role involves managing day-to-day operations in the Lands Department, facilitating land transactions, and offering technical support for governance matters. Your expertise will be key in building relationships and supporting community needs. Key Responsibilities:
Implement and review Land Code requirements for transactions
Manage environmental stewardship and cultural resource protection




Supervise and mentor Lands Department staff efficiently
Organize community engagement events and document priorities
Collaborate to advance shared community objectives Requirements:
Degree in Environmental Sciences or related field preferred
Minimum 2 years in Land Code implementation or similar
Experience supervising and building community relationships
Robust problem-solving and project management skills
