Become a Bylaw Enforcement Officer with the Community Safety Department, where you will investigate complaints and enforce municipal bylaws effectively. Successful candidates will utilize their Bylaw Enforcement & Investigative Skills Certificate to investigate bylaw infractions, issue tickets, and gather evidence.

Your role will include working closely with the public, businesses, and community agencies to foster compliance and promote safety. Key Responsibilities:
Investigate bylaw related enquiries and complaints
Issue tickets for bylaw violations and document evidence
Interview complainants and alleged offenders
Patrol City streets and parks for bylaw issues
Prepare reports and maintain accurate records Requirements:
High School graduation or equivalent
Completion of recognized Bylaw Enforcement Certificate
BC Driver’s License – Class 5
RCMP Security Clearance required
Experience in law enforcement or related fields Utilize your investigative skills and contribute to community safety as a Bylaw Enforcement Officer.
