Join Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care as a temporary full time Registered Nurse in the Forensic Assessment Program A. Provide critical psychiatric nursing care and assessments for vulnerable patients. This full time position focuses on delivering psychiatric nursing and physical assessments within a specialized forensic clinical team.

You will leverage your skills to develop treatment plans and therapeutic relationships, while ensuring patient safety and mental health support. Your expertise in complex care environments will be essential in this challenging role. Key Responsibilities:
Lead nursing services within inter-skilled teams
Conduct assessments and create treatment plans
Develop therapeutic relationships with patients




Document and evaluate patient progress and risks
Ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols Requirements:
Registered Nurse certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Basic Life Support certification with Oxygen Therapy and Airway Management
Forensic Mental Health experience preferred
Leadership experience considered an asset
