Elevate your career as an Energy Modeller with SSA Group in Downtown Toronto. This full time role focuses on energy modelling and compliance for ICI projects, ideal for aspiring technical experts. With over two years of energy modelling experience required, you will contribute to both new construction and retrofit projects.
You will utilize IES-VE and EnergyPlus to create, analyze, and interpret energy models while supporting compliance with local standards. Your insights will guide architects and engineers and influence the design process profoundly. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and analyze whole-building energy models
Support teams on recent and retrofit construction projects
Ensure compliance with OBC SB-10 and the Toronto Green Standard
Evaluate design options' energy and carbon impacts
Prepare detailed modelling reports and compliance documentation Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of energy modelling experience
Proficiency in IES-VE or EnergyPlus required
Knowledge of local building standards and codes
Degree in a related technical field preferred
