Overview

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking cashier to join our restaurant. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, be able to multitask in a rapid-paced environment, and work well with team members.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
Take customer orders accurately in person and over the phone.
Process cash, debit, credit card, and online payments using the POS system.
Manage orders from delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes.
Pack and double-check takeout and delivery orders to ensure accuracy.
Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and specials.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints politely and professionally.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, waiting area, and workstations.
Restock takeout containers, utensils, bags, sauces, and other supplies.
Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.




Follow restaurant food safety, hygiene, and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications
Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy, rapid-paced environment.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and work independently or as part of a team.
English communication skills required; Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
