Drive industrial trucks and ensure safety as an AZ/DZ Operator with GFL Environmental in Napanee, Ontario. This full time role focuses on cargo handling, vehicle inspections, and compliance with safety regulations. GFL Environmental is seeking AZ/DZ licensed drivers to join the team in Napanee.
This position involves operating a variety of trucks, including combination units and hydro excavation units. You will oversee cargo handling and ensure secure loads while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and safety practices. Key Responsibilities:
Operate various industrial trucks including box and roll-off bin units
Conduct inspections before and during trips for safety compliance
Maneuver trucks for effective loading and unloading
Maintain logs for vehicle service and working hours
Deliver products and paperwork to customers on time Requirements:
Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with a clean abstract
Mechanical knowledge and ability to work irregular shifts
Willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights
Experience with cargo securing and handling
Available Monday-Friday and on-call every fourth weekend Take on critical driving and operational tasks while ensuring timely deliveries at GFL Environmental.
