As part of the underwriting team, you will report to the Director of Mortgage Originations and recommend approvals based on comprehensive document reviews. With a focus on the five C's of credit, your decisions directly impact customer outcomes.

Your responsibilities will also include staying updated on industry regulations like B20, AML, and KYC. Key Responsibilities:
Manage documentation for timely mortgage processing
Assess up to four applications daily for approval
Communicate with brokers regarding application conditions




Foster positive relationships through excellent customer service
Collaborate with Originations to meet performance targets Requirements:
University degree or equivalent experience required
At least 3 years in residential mortgage underwriting
Robust knowledge of regulatory legislation and documentation
Proven communication and relationship-building skills
