Become an integral part of Fanshawe College as an Admissions and Pathways Advisor. This role is dedicated to guiding students through admissions and educational pathways, ensuring their academic success. As an Advisor at Fanshawe College, you will support students in navigating their program options and credit transfers while providing personalized guidance.

This position encompasses facilitating pre-admission advising, as well as participating in retention initiatives for diverse student cohorts. You'll work collaboratively to create resources that help students thrive and achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored guidance via email, phone, and in-person meetings
Advise on program fit, admissions processes, and credit transfers




Conduct one-on-one and group meetings with prospective students
Assist in customizing educational pathways and remedial guidance
Maintain and track client records for effective advising Requirements:
3-year diploma/degree in Social Sciences, Education, or related field
At least 5 years of advising experience in a postsecondary setting
Career Practitioner Certificate or equivalent preferred
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
