Claims Pro LP is seeking a Remote Legal Counsel in Canada to provide business-focused, responsive legal support. Engage with commercial contracts, civil litigation, and errors and omissions claims.

The role combines reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, managing civil disputes, and overseeing E&O; claims. You will partner with various stakeholders to resolve contract issues while working independently in a fully remote setting.

Ideally, candidates should have a background in insurance, with a minimum of two years post-call experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Review and negotiate commercial client contracts
Manage non-employment civil disputes and litigation
Oversee errors and omissions claims from intake to resolution




Provide legal advice on commercial and operational matters
Monitor Canadian legal developments and industry impacts

Requirements:
LL.B. or J.D., called to the bar in Canada
Two to six years of relevant legal experience
Experience in commercial insurance is preferred
Robust negotiation and drafting skills required
Ability to work independently in remote settings
