Lead the design and evolution of cutting-edge Network Management Solutions at Telesat as a Senior Software Developer. This role focuses on developing OSS platforms for our cutting-edge LEO network.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing Telesat Lightspeed’s Network Management Systems (NMS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS). You will utilize up-to-date software engineering methodologies to support service fulfillment and operational automation. Your expertise in cloud-native technologies and AI-assisted tools will be vital in improving productivity and network performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust NMS and OSS applications
Implement model-driven management solutions using industry standards
Automate network processes and monitoring capabilities




Integrate platforms with network elements and operational tools
Conduct troubleshooting for complex software/network issues

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
10+ years in OSS, NMS, or network automation development
Proficient in Go, Python, Java, or similar languages
Knowledgeable in NETCONF, RESTCONF, and gRPC technologies
Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native environments
