About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership and oversee all finance-related functions. The CFO will be responsible for long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support the organization's growth and sustainability. This includes leading change management initiatives to modernize financial systems and processes, integrating new technologies, and ensuring the organization's financial framework aligns with industry best practices. The role also involves overseeing financial risk management, developing investment strategies, and maintaining enhanced internal financial controls. The CFO will work closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors,



and other departments to ensure effective financial management that supports the organization's mission.

Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' progressive finance experience, ideally within a charitable or mission-driven workplace, and hold a relevant degree and professional accounting designation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in finance leadership, including experience in financial system implementation, automation, and modernizing finance functions. Advanced capabilities in cloud-based ERP/accounting systems and strong data governance practices are essential. The CFO must be a strong change leader, with expertise in financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies, and be a trusted partner to executive leadership and the Board, fostering collaboration and ensuring compliance and transparency.
