YOUR ROLE

As a Legal Assistant, you will provide valuable support to the litigation team in the area of insolvency. Among your responsibilities, your duties will include:

• Prepare and modify various documents, letters,
  
  
  
  forms and notes specific to insolvency andreorganisation
• Prepare the usual procedures related to insolvency
• Draft and follow up on correspondence
• Review documents and correspondence for grammatical errors
• Follow up on files and deadlines
• Perform opening, paper and electronic filing, tracking and organization of files
• Handle telephone calls and keep the agenda up to date
• Prepare client files (correspondence & supporting documents)

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience as a Legal Assistant
• Litigation experience
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple files at once
• Team spirit and good interpersonal skills
• Autonomy, thoroughness and attention to detail
