Job Overview We are a small non profit that support emergency services in Mexico. We also have a mandate agreement with 2 projects/entities in Mexico and accept their Canadian donations and give tax receipts. Their funds are held in trust accounts. Person we hire must be familiar with charities who operate on a multi faceted level. The position will require monthly financial statements and tax returns.

Responsibilities
Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
Prepare financial statements and assist with auditing processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and PeopleSoft for data entry, reporting, and record keeping




Maintain organized bookkeeping records and ensure data integrity across all financial systems
Assist with financial services tasks including tax preparation support and internal control procedures

Experience
Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role within a corporate finance workplace
Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices including auditing, account reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
Hands-on experience with popular accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant tools

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
