Overview

Duties
Assist in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to company policies
Support sales initiatives through effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities
Manage and supervise staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to meet performance standards
Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently
Maintain inventory levels through purchasing and stock management; utilize POS systems for transactions and reporting
Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive store atmosphere
Lead marketing efforts to attract recent customers and retain existing clientele
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a robust team
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
Manage store budgets, control expenses, and optimize operational efficiency
Provide leadership in training & development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge

Qualifications
Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with strong leadership skills




Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising, pricing, and sales management tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a rapid-paced setting
Experience with recruiting, interviewing, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, handle customer service issues, and lead teams toward common goals
Knowledge of marketing strategies and promotional planning within retail settings
Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and customers; proficient in math for sales analysis and pricing calculations
Exceptional phone etiquette, administrative experience, and attention to detail are highly desirable
