Job Overview Amato Gelato Cafe (West Springs) is opening up a current location in June 2026.

Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of Italian coffees, gelato, dolce, panini, Roman style pizza and cocktails.
Handle POS system for in store orders as well as to-go orders.
Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products
Provide excellent customer service and hospitality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and food safety practices.
Manage inventory and ordering of product weekly.
Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
Follow all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Restock supplies as necessary and assist with inventory management.
Training and develop staff.

Qualifications




2 years previous barista/ cafe or supervisor experience is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work in a quick-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Being able to model standards and expectations.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
