We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to lead our automotive service and body shop operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with solid mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring productive workflow and timely completion of mechanical and body repairs
Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of technicians and staff
Handle customer interactions, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
Work directly with insurance companies on claims, approvals, and supplements
Utilize estimating software such as Mitchell for writing and managing repair estimates
Drive sales by recommending and upselling services and parts
Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and invoicing
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized shop setting
Manage inventory, order parts, and coordinate with suppliers
Monitor technician performance and provide training and development
Conduct performance reviews and implement productivity improvements




Develop strategies to increase efficiency, revenue, and customer retention

Requirements & Experience
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or service manager
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes
Experience using Mitchell 1 or similar estimating systems
Experience working with insurance companies, including claims handling and supplements
Leadership experience managing a team in an automotive or similar environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Sales experience, including upselling services and products
Experience handling cash transactions and shop financials
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
