Overview

Duties
Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during assigned shifts, ensuring effective workflow and adherence to company standards.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to maintain quality and safety standards.
Manage POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems, ensuring accurate cash handling and billing.
Lead team members in providing outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct interviews and assist in hiring new staff members to build a competent and motivated team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and health codes across the restaurant or food service area.
Assist with restaurant management tasks such as inventory control, scheduling, and training recent employees.
Support kitchen operations by supervising food prep, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining cleanliness.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and leadership.

Skills
Proven experience in food service, restaurant management,



or hospitality roles with supervisory responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety protocols.
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling skills are essential.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage guest interactions professionally.
Leadership qualities including team management, supervising experience, interviewing skills, and conflict resolution.
Familiarity with restaurant operations including kitchen workflows and food industry standards.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Previous hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required; hospitality background is highly valued. This position is ideal for motivated individuals looking to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
