Role Description The Kitchen Helper role at Bravo Bistro Grill & Traiteur is a part-time, on-site position based in Laval, QC. The Kitchen Helper supports cooks and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, washing dishes and equipment, organizing storage areas, and handling food in accordance with hygiene standards. The role also involves restocking supplies, assisting with straightforward cooking tasks as directed, and helping prepare items for catering orders and service.



The Kitchen Helper works closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations and may occasionally assist with food and beverage setup or straightforward customer service tasks, such as answering basic questions or supporting service staff.

Qualifications
Ability to perform Food Preparation tasks, including basic knife skills and ingredient handling.
Knowledge of Hygiene standards and safe food-handling practices in a commercial kitchen.
Interest or experience in Cooking and supporting hot and cold food production.
Familiarity with Food & Beverage operations, including dishwashing, storage, and restocking.
Customer Service mindset, with a professional and respectful attitude toward guests and team members.
Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is an asset but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
Basic understanding of French or English for communication with the team and following instructions.
