We are currently looking for a CNC Machinist Evening Shift for a family-owned business in Saint-Hubert that specializes in machining metal parts weighing up to 400 lbs, in the mining sector.

Under the supervision of the team leader, the incumbent will be part of a small team and will be responsible for the production of CNC machine operations during their shift.

Responsibilities

Adjust machines to meet product specifications;

Operate all lathes to machine various types of products.

Read and properly use route sheets, adhere to the dimensions of technical drawings, and understand the meaning of symbols;

Measure the dimensions of produced parts using precision measuring instruments and ensure they meet the required dimensions;

Properly use all measuring instruments;

Meet production quantities;

Prepare the work area before and after production;

Apply current quality policies;





Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the work areas;

Skills:

Diligent, Sense of responsibility, proactive (plan ahead);

Experience in a production factory is an asset;

Good physical condition (moderate physical work);

DEP in machining technology or equivalent preferred;
