Working closely with clients and internal team members, including engineers and technicians

Following projects from initial design through construction, with the support and flexibility needed to grow professionally

This chance is based in our Sainte-Dorothée (Laval) office.

Your Role
As a Design Engineer and Project Manager, you will:

Analyze and design building structures in steel, reinforced concrete, and timber

Perform structural calculations and prepare clear, concise technical reports

Develop drawings and specifications in compliance with applicable codes and standards

Participate in project kick-off meetings, planning, and coordination activities

Coordinate drawing production with drafters and ensure the quality of project deliverables

Conduct field surveys of existing structures when required

Contribute to the optimization of technical solutions and design methodologies

Progressively take on greater responsibilities in project management and mentoring junior team members according to your experience

What We’re Looking For
We value potential, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for structural design.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or Construction Engineering with a structural specialization

Approximately three- five years of experience in building structural design (flexible depending on the candidate’s profile – We welcome senior profil too)

Consulting engineering experience in Québec is a significant asset

Proficiency with ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE

Strong engineering judgment and attention to detail

Excellent organizational and teamwork skills

Fluent in French, both spoken and written (essential)

Additional Assets

Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally
