In this role, you will work closely with virology and protein biochemistry teams to develop yeast VLP production workflows. You'll express engineered VLPs, purify particles, run QC assays, and ensure they meet stability standards. Your contributions will be pivotal as you build production processes that influence critical research outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engineer yeast strains for effective VLP production
• Transform yeast with VLP constructs and screen clones
• Optimize production conditions in shake flasks and bioreactors
• Run purification and QC workflows for particle integrity
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and results
Requirements:
• BSc or MS in relevant biological fields
• Hands-on experience in yeast protein expression
• Proficient in protein purification methods
• Knowledge of QC techniques like SDS-PAGE or ELISA
• Strong record-keeping and troubleshooting skills
