What your day-to-day will look like Manufacture, sharpen, resharpen, repair and modify all kinds of cutting tools using CNC machines
Consult cutting tool drawings and sketches
Prepare tools, dress grinding wheels manually or using a CNC machine, perform setup
Operate one or more machines simultaneously
Inspect cutting tools using comparators and automated inspection machines
Participate in the development of current processes
Perform mathematical calculations, including using trigonometry
Wash, pack, identify and move parts while ensuring compliance with standards and specifications
Keep equipment and workstations in good condition
Perform routine maintenance on equipment (oil levels, filter status)




Work in a team and demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
What you need to succeed Holder of a DCS (DEP) in Machining Techniques with ASP in Machining on Numerical Control Machine Tools
Ability to work well in a team
Initiative and leadership
Manual dexterity
Analytical mindset
This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may originate from international organizations
Assets Experience in the machining field
Experience in cutting tool sharpening (an asset)
