In this full-time union role, you will support senior clients at the Senior Day Program. Candidates with personal support worker certification and at least one year of relevant experience are preferred. Fluency in Italian and Spanish will enhance care delivery and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized personal care support to clients
• Operate mobility devices safely and effectively
• Assist with meal preparation and nutritional monitoring
• Encourage engagement in social and recreational activities
• Ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements:
• PSW Diploma/Certificate from accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year of experience in senior care
• Fluent in Italian and/or Spanish preferred
• Registration with the Ontario PSW Registry
• Current WHMIS and First Aid certification
