Job Summary: The Senior Software Developer for ERP / Case Management will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining the Workforce Information Network (WIN) system, a critical Oracle People

Soft HCM ERP platform used by the Ontario Public Service.

This role involves delivering advanced technical solutions across the software development lifecycle, focusing on People

Soft HCM modules such as Absence Management, Time & Labour, Benefits, and Payroll.

The developer will work in an agile, multi-disciplinary team to digitize HR and payroll processes, improve self-service capabilities, and transition legacy interfaces to modern Fluid UI.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain People

Soft HCM applications and integrations.

Support digital transformation projects including onboarding, benefits enrollment, and life events management.

Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business insights.

Implement technical upgrades and transition legacy Classic+ pages to Fluid UI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including managers, solution designers, and IT professionals.

Provide technical expertise in multi-platform environments throughout all SDLC phases.

Support unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing activities.

Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies and best practices.

Required Skills: Extensive experience with People

Soft HCM modules development, especially Absence Management, Time & Labour, Benefits, and Payroll.

Robust knowledge of People

Soft security, workflow, and tools such as People

Soft Update Manager (PUM), Change Assistant, and Data Mover.

Proficiency in People

Soft system development tools including Application Designer, People

Code, Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, SQR, and BI Publisher.





Experience with Fluid UI development: configuring navigation, tiles, dashboards, Activity Guides, and role-based security.

Knowledge of Oracle database management systems and application database administration.

Experience supporting testing phases including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within an agile, self-directed, multi-disciplinary team.

Desired Skills: Experience developing Linux scripts.

Previous experience in the Ontario Public Service or public sector environments.

Familiarity with business process automation and service delivery excellence in ERP contexts.

Knowledge of technical upgrades and vendor-supported application capabilities.
