We are looking for an individual who is eager to jump start their Claims career with HUB International. Our Burnaby location is our head office and is centrally located in the Willingdon Business Park. This location is easily accessible by the Gilmore sky train station with many shops, restaurants,



and other amenities nearby.ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative support to claims examiners including file set up and payment processing (both internally and in cooperation with external partners)Manage several claim bordereauxLiaise with external stakeholders, including both Lloyds and domestic insurers, as part of bordereaux managementLiaise with internal stakeholders, including accounting department, to ensure claims payment accounts are reconciled monthlyProvide back up support for claims intake which may include monitoring claims inboxes, reporting new claims to carriers and recording information in EPIC as neededParticipate on claims team phone queueOther duties and responsibilities as assignedSkills, Characteristics ⛿ Qualifications1-2 years of administrative experienceIndustry experience is an assetLevel 1 General Insurance License or willingness to obtain within 6 monthsOutstanding customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalIntermediate to advanced MS Office knowledge, with focus on Excel and WordEnjoy working in a fast paced, client-focused environmentFamiliarity with EPIC is an assetWhere This Can Take YouWe invest in our employees!
