The role is primarily about companionship, supervision, and providing a warm and reassuring presence for my mother. This is not intended to be a traditional full time nursing position. My priority is finding someone who is patient, responsible, compassionate, and will treat my mother with the same kindness, dignity, and respect they would want for their own family member.
What the role involves:
Providing companionship and spending quality time with my mother
Ensuring she is comfortable, safe, and not alone
Helping with basic day-to-day needs and routines
Preparing or assisting with simple meals when required
Helping maintain a calm, positive, and comfortable environment
