Job Summary The Indoor and Outdoor Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, appearance, and overall condition of the property's indoor and outdoor areas. Duties include general cleaning, groundskeeping, landscaping, seasonal maintenance, and minor property repairs to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and presentable throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities Outdoor Maintenance and Groundskeeping Mow lawns and maintain landscaped areas.
Maintain gardens, flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hedges.
Perform seasonal maintenance, including snow and ice removal as required.
Inspect outdoor areas regularly and report hazards, damage, or maintenance concerns.
Safely operate and maintain lawn mowers, trimmers, and other groundskeeping equipment.
Assist with minor outdoor repairs and general property maintenance.
Keep tools, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
Indoor Cleaning and Maintenance Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and other fixtures.
Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors throughout the building.
Empty garbage and recycling bins, replace garbage bags, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Replenish washroom supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
Clean doors, windows, counters, and other common surfaces as required.
Keep entrances,



hallways, and indoor common areas clean, neat, and tidy.
Report maintenance issues, spills, damaged equipment, and supply shortages promptly.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures and handle cleaning products safely.
Qualifications and Requirements A valid driver's licence is required.
Previous cleaning, groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance experience is an asset.
Ability to work independently and complete daily cleaning and maintenance duties.
Ability to safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other maintenance equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Good attention to detail and a responsible work attitude.
Physically capable of performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, lifting garbage bags, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, organized, and self-motivated.
Willingness to follow established cleaning schedules and workplace health and safety procedures.
Employment Conditions Position Permanent, full-time
Wage $25.00 per hour
Working Hours Regular working hours to be established by the employer.
Compensation and Benefits To be determined by the employer.
Safety Equipment and Training Appropriate safety equipment and training will be provided as required.
Purpose of the Position To ensure that the property's indoor and outdoor areas remain clean, safe, well-maintained, and presentable throughout the year.
