We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario on a Contract basis.

This role focuses on managing business client accounts, supporting collection activities, and maintaining robust client relationships that encourage timely payment and long-term partnership.

The successful candidate will bring a customer-focused approach, sound judgment, and the ability to balance service excellence with effective account follow-up.

Responsibilities: • Oversee a portfolio of business accounts, maintaining regular communication to support account health and long-term client satisfaction. • Conduct collection outreach by phone and email, issue account statements, and follow up on outstanding balances in a timely and accurate manner.



• Work closely with cash application teams to help resolve payment allocation issues and improve the accuracy of account records. • Coordinate with clients to confirm that account activity aligns with contractual obligations and applicable compliance standards. • Liaise with internal operational teams to address service-related concerns and help deliver a consistent client experience. • Strengthen client relationships through responsive support, proactive communication, and a solutions-oriented approach. • Identify opportunities to improve account engagement, reduce attrition, and support ongoing revenue stability. • Manage competing priorities effectively while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and timely follow-up across all assigned accounts.
