We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a Distribution organization in , Aurora , ON on a 4-6 month Contract basis, 5 days onsite.

This position will lead core accounting operations, produce reliable financial reporting, and help maintain effective controls across the finance function.

The successful candidate will bring a hands-on approach to managing daily transactions, supporting business performance, and improving financial processes in an inventory-driven workplace.

Responsibilities: • Direct daily finance operations across payables, receivables, ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Lead monthly and annual close activities, including reviewing entries and preparing complete financial statements for management use.



• Track liquidity needs by overseeing incoming payments, outgoing disbursements, operating expenses, and collection activity. • Manage inventory-related accounting by monitoring product costing, valuation, and cost of goods sold reporting. • Strengthen financial governance by maintaining effective controls and supporting compliance with accounting standards and tax obligations. • Contribute to forecasting, budget planning, and financial analysis to support sound business decisions. • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and improve the efficiency and reliability of financial processes.
