We are a busy, friendly family with two young daughters (ages 4 and 1.5) looking for a reliable, organized and proactive mother’s helper to assist with the everyday tasks of running our home.

We are not looking for a traditional nanny, as we are happy to manage childcare ourselves. Instead, we’re hoping to find someone who can help lighten the household load so we can spend more quality time with our children.

Responsibilities would include light housekeeping, general tidying, laundry (washing, folding and putting away), kitchen cleanup, dishes, easy dinner preparation, meal prep and occasional household organization. We would love someone who can take initiative and recognize what needs to be done without constant direction.

Ideally, we’re looking for help one weekday evening per week, particularly during dinner and bedtime routines, with additional evenings when my husband travels for work.



We are also open to weekday mornings after school and daycare drop-off for the right person.

We live in West Springs, SW Calgary, and have a friendly Australian Shepherd, so comfort around dogs is important.

Schedule: Approximately 2-3 hours per visit, once weekly, with flexibility for additional shifts.

Pay: Approximately $25/hour, depending on experience.
