Position Summary:

As an Inventory Specialist (OS&D;), where your expertise will contribute significantly to our operational efficiency and success.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

- Sort, scan & file all OS&D; exception problems
- Investigate all OS&D;’s
- Completion of daily dock check (electronic & written)
- Working the ‘All short’ report daily
- Problem solving
- Work closely with customer care, dispatch, operations and other terminals to ensure timely movement of freight
- Extensive contact and interaction with the public in situations requiring problem resolution, and duties which relate specifically to Customer concerns
- Research and follow-up on customer problems and respond to questions
- Obtain information from the customer to perform a requested task




- Act in a pro-active manner in order to fix customer problems when they arise and suggest and implement procedure to prevent them from happening in the future

Skills

- OS&D; experience preferred
- 2 years previous experience in the warehousing industry (asset)
- Customs Clearance experience (asset)
- Previous experience in inventory control or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members across departments.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions.
