Overview

We are seeking a skilled Epoxy Coating Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role involves applying epoxy coatings to various surfaces and components, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with manufacturing processes, and experience working with hand tools and power tools. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, precision, and efficiency are paramount.

Duties

- Prepare surfaces for epoxy coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
- Mix epoxy resins and hardeners accurately according to specifications
- Apply epoxy coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment to achieve uniform coverage
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and coating application




- Conduct quality inspections to ensure coatings are free of defects and meet specifications
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks as needed within the production process
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by following standardized procedures and minimizing waste

Experience

- Prior experience in coating applications is preferred
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and mixing compounds accurately
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and quality
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
