We are seeking a friendly and motivated Subway Sandwich Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in food preparation, customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. As a Subway Sandwich Artist, you will be responsible for creating delicious sandwiches, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Operate the POS system for order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with general restaurant duties to support smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, sanitation, and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with POS systems is a plus
- Basic understanding of food industry standards, serving practices, and upselling techniques
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Reliable with good time management skills and a positive team-oriented mindset
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
