Located in downtown Toronto, our new 223 room hotel will feature multiple restaurants, bars, a spa, and approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space. Join our opening culinary team and help create memorable dining and event experiences for our guests.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping and Housekeeping Supervisors, the Housekeeping Room Attendant cleans and prepares guestrooms to Le Méridien and Marriott standards. This role helps create a comfortable, welcoming stay through careful attention to cleanliness, presentation and guest service. During pre-opening, the Room Attendant will support deep cleaning, room setup and opening-readiness activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Clean and prepare guestrooms and bathrooms, including making beds, changing linen, dusting, vacuuming and sanitizing surfaces.

· Replenish towels, toiletries and guest supplies, and arrange room amenities according to hotel standards.

· Support pre-opening deep cleaning, guestroom setup and room-readiness inspections.

· Complete assigned rooms within established service and productivity standards while maintaining quality.

· Report maintenance concerns, damage, missing items and room-status discrepancies promptly.

· Respect guest privacy, follow key-control and room-entry procedures, and handle lost-and-found items appropriately.

· Keep housekeeping carts, equipment and storage areas clean, organized and stocked.

· Respond courteously to guest requests and communicate service needs to the housekeeping team.

· Follow safe chemical handling, WHMIS,



infection-prevention and workplace health and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

· Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred; hotel experience is an asset.

· Solid attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and guest service.

· Ability to follow instructions, manage assigned tasks and work independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to perform the physical duties of the role, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, making beds and moving carts, with accommodation where required.

· Ability to communicate effectively with guests, supervisors and colleagues.

· Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays.
